There are weirdly several political jokes in series, like in one episode when Tim suggested helping Scooter out, Staci mocks him as liberal just because he wants to help Scooter in a simple way. Thus, some feel that this is more of clear alternative continuity from the film itself.ĩ.
False advertising: This show is said to be a follow-up to the first film, but in reality, it's more of a spin-off than a follow-up and it barely has any continuity from the film (see reason 3). His terrible voice combined with his jerk persona only made him even more irritable.ħ. The characters' voices are very annoying, unlike in the movie.Ĩ. The Triplets are completely useless as they mostly do nothing but stay at Baby Corp.ĥ. Boss Baby's boss, Big Boss Baby (from the movie), doesn't appear in the show and is replaced with the Mega Fat CEO Baby.Ħ. Speaking of Mega Fat CEO Baby, he's the worst character in the show, a complete moron who annoys Boss Baby and wants him to get fired.Jimbo is an annoying idiot who's trademark is his love for kittens.Staci was changed from a sweet little girl to a horrible brat who even made babies lose at some contest in one of the episodes.The mom and dad don't refer the Boss Baby as "Theodore Lindsey Templeton", which was his given name at the end of the movie.Ĥ. The show is supposed to take place sometime AFTER the events of the film.There are some plot holes in the show, such as these: This is unacceptable since there have been other good DreamWorks shows on Netflix before this ( All Hail King Julien, Trollhunters, and the newer seasons of Dragons) that had far superior CGI animation.ģ.
